Words Are Powerful
My name is Kirsten Hagen Kennedy and I am a single mother with five children. I believe that words change the world. I intend to become acquainted and competent at writing for the media. I would love to write for local news agencies and someday publish in an international setting.

Kirsten - I'm delighted that you're taking this class! I didn't realize that your career goals include publishing... As you pick stories for this class, keep publication in the Ink Spot in mind. You should be able to get most of what you write in this class printed.
ReplyDeleteHey Kirsten! I want to give you HUGE props for being a single mother of five! I have 4 siblings and most of the time I take care of them. I know how hard it can be to raise a family, try to do school work, have a fulltime job, and still try to have somewhat of a social life. So great job on that!

ReplyDeleteHey Kirsten. It's cool that we are in the same class, I didn't know you wanted to publish things in a journalistic setting. I suppose that was a recent decision. Well, I hope you find success in this class, and with a journalistic career should you choose that. I really want to say "Viva la revalucion" right now but that might lead to some confusion as to what side I'm on.
